Delivery time
As a bike manufacturer, we build every bike individually for you. Due to the current order and delivery situation, we need 10-12 weeks after order confirmation to manufacture and ship available wheels.
The veloheld.lane is your timeless all-in-one bike for your city and beyond! Lower entry and a more upright riding position – the Swing Step version is the more comfortable veloheld.lane.
With the low-maintenance Shimano Alfine 11-speed hub gears in combination with the oil-free Gates CentreTrack belt drive, you can enjoy your daily tours without any worries. Thanks to the bright SON lighting, commuting is no problem even in the dark.
And if the weather doesn’t play along, the long aluminium mudguards painted in the same colour as the frame ensure that you stay dry. Ready for your city or the surrounding countryside? Leave others behind and enjoy your own personal “rush hour”!
The veloheld.lane is also available with a high top tube or as a frameset (including fork and mudguards) – and of course in the colour of your choice!

The bike is delivered almost fully assembled and securely packed in a cardboard box by a forwarding agent within Germany. After delivery, you can assemble it ready to ride in a few simple steps and without special tools and go on your first ride straight away. You can find all information about the structure here.
After delivery, you can quickly assemble the bike ready to ride with just a few simple steps and a few tools.
To do this, the handlebars incl. Turn the stem in the direction of travel, install the pedals and adjust your saddle height.
You will find all the exact assembly steps in the assembly instructions.
If you live near one of our dealers, you can also test ride your dream bike there. Please get in touch with the dealer first so that he really has the bike in stock and can prepare it for you if necessary.
If you buy the bike directly from us, you can test ride it on a dry surface at home after receiving and assembling it. If, contrary to expectations, you don’t like it and/or it doesn’t fit, we will collect it from you again free of charge. All you have to do is pack it safely back into the shipping box and wait for collection. Please note: This does not apply to customized bikes.
Without limiting the statutory warranty rights, we grant you a total warranty of 5 years from the date of purchase on veloheld frames and veloheld forks. You can find the exact details on our warranty and guarantee page.
Please register your bike here within 3 months of purchase to receive the warranty.
The maximum permissible system weight for the veloheld.lane consisting of bicycle, rider and luggage should not exceed 120 kg for frame sizes S and M and kg and 140 kg for frame sizes L and XL. Please note that the fork with a pannier rack may be loaded with max. 15 kg (7.5 kg per side) and the frame with a maximum of 25 kg via the carrier.
At the moment you can only mount a child seat directly on the veloheld.lane in the mid step version to mount a child seat directly on the seat tube. The veloheld.lane with high top tube is not approved for this.
Yes, you can mount a KSA18 kickstand directly on the left dropout. A Hebie Fix 18 kickstand is already fitted for you with the complete bike.

Auf der Suche nach einem eleganten, urbanen und gleichzeitig sportlichem Trekkingbike bin ich bei Veloheld fündig geworden.
Ich wollte sehr bewußt KEIN Pedelec haben. Sondern ein leichtes und stabiles Rad mit schönen technischen Komponenten.
Also habe ich mich für die Rohloff-Schaltung entschieden. Alles weitere war in der technischen Ausstattung bereits so durch Veloheld konfiguriert wie ich es mir wünschte und es mir auch vom Händler (TNT-Bike in Wunstorf) empfohlen wurde.
Mit einer “Sonderlackierung” (British Green) habe ich das Rad für meinen Geschmack abgerundet.
Dazu den bereits vorhandenen honigfarbenen Sattel von Brooks und Brooks Handgriffe.
Die Standardhandgriffe und der Sattel von Veloheld haben mich nach einer Probefahrt beim Händler nicht überzeugt.
Die Lieferzeit hat Geduld erfordert, aber es hat sich gelohnt.
Würde ich das Rad wieder kaufen? Ein eindeutiges “ja!”, es ist das technisch beste und schönste Fahrrad, das ich jemals hatte.

Ich fahre seit Anfang des Jahres das Lady Lane in Rahmengröße “L” und bin mit meiner Entscheidung für dieses Rad sehr glücklich.
Das Rad ist mit der Rohloff-Schaltung ausgestattet. Die (Sonder-)Lackierung in (ähnlich) “British green”, Logo in schwarz. Sattel und Handgriffe von Brooks in honigfarben. Sieht schlicht und edel aus. Und hat den Preis natürlich nach oben getrieben. Aber ich wollte keine Kompromisse eingehen. (Vielleicht laden die Velohelden hier noch das Foto hoch, das ich ihnen geschickt habe…..)
Ich bin Alltagsradlerin und fahre ab und zu kleinere und größere Touren.
Habe mich aufs Rad gesetzt und sofort heimisch gefühlt. Das Rad ist handlich, leicht und ausreichend stabil, pflegeleicht.
Die Entscheidung, ein analoges Rad und KEIN Pedelec zu kaufen war eine sehr bewußte.
Von Bestellung bis zur Auslieferung war die Wartezeit recht lang, ca. 6 Monate hat es gedauert. Das ist lang, aber die Geduld hat sich gelohnt.
An dieser Stelle auch noch meinen Dank an das Team von TNT-bike in Wunstorf, die mir als Händler das Rad auf den Leib “geschneidert” haben.
