The veloheld.farway Pinion Tour is your new touring bike for wonderful tours. Precisely manufactured in our frame construction workshop in Leipzig, it offers a robust and comfortable CrMoly frame, a 12-speed Pinion gearbox in conjunction with the low-maintenance Gates Carbon Drive belt drive and the bright SON lighting system.
With 28-inch wheels and 50 mm wide Schwalbe tires, it offers plenty of comfort and traction on any terrain. Like every veloheld bike, it can be customized and is therefore ready for your adventures on the long tour. Overall, the

The frames are made with love and sweat from butted CrMoly tubes in our frame construction workshop in Leipzig.
The dropouts of the wheel were printed from stainless steel powder to the veloheld.farway Pinion dropouts.

In order to efficiently transfer the enormous torque of the Pinion gearbox to the rear wheel via the Gates belt, the drive is tensioned directly behind the front pulley - the most stable solution for a rigid frame
The Pinion gearbox - twelve extremely low-maintenance and practically wear-free gears with fine gradations for an outstanding gear range and unique shifting comfort. With a total gear ratio of 600 %, it is the perfect shifting system for long, carefree tours.
The complete SON lighting system guarantees perfect illumination of your route and excellent visibility in traffic. The system is completely "Made in Germany" and comes with a 5-year guarantee.
The frame is completely <em>"Made in Germany"</em>. Welded in our frame construction workshop in Leipzig from butted 25CrMo4 tubes and 3D printed stainless steel dropouts and then powder-coated directly in Dresden.

The C1.12 gearbox is the manual gearbox for everyday, leisure and touring riders. 12 finely graduated gears offer an outstanding range of ratios and unique shifting comfort. With a total gear ratio of 600 %, the C1.12 gearbox beats modern derailleur gears by far.

The bike is delivered almost fully assembled and safely packed in a cardboard box by a forwarding agent within Germany. After delivery, you can assemble it ready to ride in a few simple steps and without special tools and go on your first ride straight away. You can find all information about the structure here.
After delivery, you can quickly assemble the bike ready to ride with just a few simple steps and a few tools.
To do this, the handlebars incl. Turn the stem in the direction of travel, install the pedals and adjust your saddle height.
You will find all the exact assembly steps in the assembly instructions.
If you live near one of our dealers, you can also test ride your dream bike there. Please get in touch with the dealer first so that he really has the bike in stock and can prepare it for you if necessary.
If you buy the bike directly from us, you can test ride it on a dry surface at home after receiving and assembling it. If, contrary to expectations, you don’t like it and/or it doesn’t fit, we will collect it from you again free of charge. All you have to do is pack it safely back into the shipping box and wait for collection. Please note: This does not apply to customized bikes.
Without limiting the statutory warranty rights, we grant you a total warranty of 5 years from the date of purchase on veloheld frames and veloheld forks. You can find the exact details on our warranty and guarantee page.
Please register your bike here within 3 months of purchase to receive the warranty.
The maximum permissible system weight for the veloheld.farway Pinion consisting of bicycle, rider and luggage should not exceed 140 kg for all frame sizes.
Yes, you can mount a KSA18 kickstand on the left dropout using an adapter. You can order it during the ordering process and we will fit it to the bike before shipping.
