The optimum saddle width depends on the distance between your sit bones - this distributes the pressure evenly when riding and prevents pain.
This is how you can easily determine the width of the SQlanb saddle:
Prepare the measuring surface
Place corrugated cardboard or cardboard box (e.g. from a shipping box) on a stable surface – preferably without padding. You can also order the free home measurement kit from SQlab.
Carry out the measurement
Sit on the cardboard with your upper body straight. It is best to wear shorts or thin trousers.
Lean slightly forward, as is usual when gravel biking – rest your elbows on your thighs.
Mark your sit bone impressions
Stand up slowly – you should see two distinct dents. Measure the distance between the centers of the two marks in millimeters.
Calculate saddle width
Add +2 cm for the position on the gravel bike
➤ Example: Seat bone distance 120 mm + 20 mm = 140 mm saddle width
Select the appropriate saddle width
Select the corresponding value in the order process.
Our tip:
Although sit bones can get used to pressure loads in the long term, pain at the start of the season or with a new saddle is normal and often requires five to six rides to adjust. You should take a break of at least two days between these first rides to give irritated periosteum and muscle and tendon attachments time to recover.

The right handlebar width ensures comfort, control and riding enjoyment - especially on long distances and off-road.
The right handlebar width ensures comfort, control and riding enjoyment – especially on long distances and off-road.This is how you can easily determine it:
Our tip:
If you’re wavering between two widths, choose the narrower version for sportier riding – and the wider one for more comfort and control off-road.
