As a bike manufacturer, we build every bike individually for you. Due to the current order and delivery situation, we need 6 - 8 weeks after order confirmation to manufacture and ship available bikes.

The veloheld.iconX Tourist is your new randonneur for wonderful long days in the saddle. And if it should take even longer and the rain says “Hello”, you are well equipped with the safe lighting, the sturdy luggage rack and the mudguards in frame color and don’t really need to stop riding. However, the new veloheld.iconX Tourist is not only the ideal companion for touring, but also as a fast city bike for the daily commute to work in all seasons.

The lightweight steel frame made of heat-treated CrMo tubes has the same features as the “normal” veloheld.iconX and thus offers a perfect basis for configuring your new touring bike with many equipment options. Choose between two fork types, several groupsets, two component lines and many additional products and design your very own custom randonneur bike. Of course, you can also have the frame, steel fork and mudguards coated in your own personal RAL color. Be a rad tourist! And show us how you’ll be traveling from now on!

  • heat-treated and double end-reinforced tubes made of veloheld.CrMo steel, TIG-welded, “tapered” head tube, Di2 ready (only with 24 mm axles for Shimano cranks), flatmount disc brake mount in the rear frame triangle for 140 or 160 mm brake discs

    Tolles Fahrrad für (fast) jedes Einsatzgebiet!
    Auch ich nutze es für den täglichen Weg zur Arbeit, für Gravel-Runden und kleine Touren am Wochenende.
    Es ist aufgrund der Vollausstattung natürlich etwas schwerer, was mich aber nicht stört.
    Die GRX-Gruppe, in meinem Fall 2×12, lohnt sich definitiv und auch die Entscheidung für die teurere SON-Beleuchtung bereue ich nicht.
    Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, alles ist sauber eingestellt und bereit gefahren zu werden. Mir wurden im Nachhinein sogar (kostenlos!) verschieden lange Vorbauten zugeschickt um zu testen, welcher mir am besten passt.
    Kommunikation mit Veloheld ist top, alle Wünsche werden berücksichtigt. Ich kann das IconX-Tourist als auch Veloheld nur empfehlen.

    Nach 3,5 Jahren und mehr als 15000km bin ich immer noch begeistert von meinem Rad. Egal ob beim flotten Pendeln, auf der Feierabend-Gravel-Runde oder auf großer Tour, das iconX Tourist bleibt meine erste Wahl. Es ist ein Top-Allrounder. Das Rad ist sehr handlich, aber trotzdem spurstabil, was sich gerade beim Fahren mit Gepäck positiv bemerkbar macht. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist sehr gut, ebenso wie die verbauten Komponenten. Außer normalem Verschleiß gab es bis jetzt noch keine Ausfälle. Sonderwünsche in der Ausstattung waren nach Rücksprache auch kein Problem.
    Als Radpendler muss ich sagen, dass die Lichtanlage von SON den Aufpreis auf jeden Fall wert ist.
    Als Gravel- und Tourenfahrer schätze ich vor allem die GRX-Schaltung (2×11) und die entspannte SItzhaltung.

    Und nicht zuletzt sieht das Rad einfach gut aus 🙂

How will the bike be delivered to me?

The bike is delivered almost fully assembled and securely packed in a cardboard box by a forwarding agent within Germany. After delivery, you can assemble it ready to ride in a few simple steps and without special tools and go on your first ride straight away. You can find all information about the structure here.

What exactly do I have to install after delivery?

After delivery, you can quickly assemble the bike ready to ride with just a few simple steps and a few tools. To do this, the handlebars incl. Turn the stem in the direction of travel, install the pedals and adjust your saddle height.

You will find all the exact assembly steps in the assembly instructions.

Can I test ride the bike?

If you live near one of our dealers, you can also test ride your dream bike there. Please get in touch with the dealer first so that he really has the bike in stock and can prepare it for you if necessary.

If you buy the bike directly from us, you can test ride it on a dry surface at home after receiving and assembling it. If, contrary to expectations, you don’t like it and/or it doesn’t fit, we will collect it from you again free of charge. All you have to do is pack it safely back into the shipping box and wait for collection. Please note: This does not apply to customized bikes.

Do I have an additional guarantee?

Without limiting the statutory warranty rights, we grant you a total warranty of 5 years from the date of purchase on veloheld frames and veloheld forks. You can find the exact details on our warranty and guarantee page.

Please register your bike here within 3 months of purchase to receive the warranty.

What is the maximum permissible system weight?

The maximum permissible system weight for the veloheld.iconX consisting of bicycle, rider and luggage should not exceed 120 kg for frame sizes XS, S and M and 140 kg for frame sizes L, XL and XXL with steel fork. When used with a carbon fork, the limit for all sizes is 120 kg.

Can I fit a side stand?

Unfortunately no, you cannot mount a stand directly on the frame of this bike.
