Let’s try something new! At the customer’s request, this veloheld.lane was fitted with 26″ wheels with slightly wider and more profiled Schwalbe tires for light off-road use. Thanks to the adjustable eccentric bottom bracket housing, the rider does not have to worry about the crank coming into contact with the ground when cornering due to the smaller wheels.
Frame, fork and the 26″ Gilles Berthoud stainless steel mudguards in long version were exclusively powder-coated in a metallic green color called “Illusion Gambler”. In contrast to the standard bike, a different luggage rack with the Tubus logo and a different lighting system with the Lumotec IQ2 Luxus U with USB charging socket and many “extras” were installed. If you see someone behind you flashing their headlights, it could be this very bike that wants to overtake you discreetly. We wish the new owner a safe journey at all times!
