The bike is delivered almost fully assembled and securely packed in a cardboard box by a forwarding agent within Germany. After delivery, you can assemble it ready to ride in a few simple steps and without special tools and go on your first ride straight away. You can find all information about the structure here.

To do this, the handlebars incl. Turn the stem in the direction of travel, install the pedals and adjust your saddle height.
You will find all the exact assembly steps in the assembly instructions.
If you live near one of our dealers, you can also test ride your dream bike there. Please get in touch with the dealer first so that he really has the bike in stock and can prepare it for you if necessary.
If you buy the bike directly from us, you can test ride it on a dry surface at home after receiving and assembling it. If, contrary to expectations, you don’t like it and/or it doesn’t fit, we will collect it from you again free of charge. All you have to do is pack it safely back into the shipping box and wait for collection. Please note: This does not apply to customized bikes.
Without limiting the statutory warranty rights, we grant you a total warranty of 5 years from the date of purchase on veloheld frames and veloheld forks. You can find the exact details on our warranty and guarantee page.

The maximum permissible system weight for the veloheld.lane consisting of bicycle, rider and luggage should not exceed 120 kg for frame sizes S and M and kg and 140 kg for frame sizes L and XL. Please note that the fork with a pannier rack may be loaded with max. 15 kg (7.5 kg per side) and the frame with a maximum of 25 kg via the carrier.
At the moment you can only mount a child seat directly on the veloheld.lane in the mid step version to mount a child seat directly on the seat tube. The veloheld.lane with high top tube is not approved for this.
Yes, you can mount a KSA18 kickstand directly on the left dropout. A Hebie Fix 18 kickstand is already fitted for you with the complete bike.

2018 gekauft bei den Bike Dudes in Berlin Friedenau fährt sich mein Veloheld Lane auch heute nach 6 Jahren wie ein neues Bike, nix knarzt oder quietscht. Veredelt von den Bike Dudes mit Hexlox an sämtlichen Schrauben, SQlab Innerbarend, einem dezenten Flaschenhalter und zur Sicherheit ein fettes ABUS Faltschloss nahm ich es Sommer 2018 in Empfang. Kurz nach Kauf ließ ich mir noch ein kleineres (21t) Ritzel an der Hinterachse verbauen. Später kamen in Eigenregie noch eine Ortlieb Rahmentasche in perfekt passendem blau dazu und die Griffe wichen neuen ebenfalls von SQlab. Bis auf einen Platten gab es in den sechs Jahren keinen Ausfall. Super pflegeleicht dank Riemen und Nabenschaltung, kein Vergleich zu meinem voriger Fahrrad mit Kettenschaltung. Perfekt für mich hier in der Stadt für die Fahrten zur Arbeit und zurück. Ölwechsel ist auch einfach selbst zu machen und auch bei einem Platten an der Hinterachse lässt sich der Schlauch ohne Spezialwerkzeuge oder Öffnen des Rahmen tausch. Jede Fahrt ist eine Freude und mittlerweile sollte sich der kauf durch gesparte Benzinkosten amortisiert haben, was für noch mehr Fahrfreude sorgt 🙂 Fahrrad am Besten vor Ort beim Händler ansehen und Probe fahren wie ich und dann eintüten.

Ich habe 2017 mein Lane bekommen und es hat mich viele viele Tausend Kilometer treu begleitet. Es ist das perfekte Bike für Liebhaber, die keine Schrauber sind, weil sie es nicht sein müssen. Nun wurde es geklaut. Herzlichen Glückwunsch du Mistkerl, du hast ein Fahrrad bekommen mit dem du ohne Panne auf Beutezug rund um die Erde fahren kannst. @Veloheld: Gibt es eine Selbsthilfegruppe für ehemalige Veloheld-Besitzer?
Hallo Niko und unser Beileid für das gestohlene veloheld Rad. Leider haben wir noch keine Selbsthilfegruppen für veloheld Besitzer. Bei Fragen können sich ja alle direkt an uns wenden.
Habe heute mein neues Veloheld Lane aus der Manufaktur abgeholt, nachdem ich 13 Monate mit dem Vorgänger sehr zufrieden war, … bis eben ein Diebstahl uns trennte. Tolles Rad für die Stadt und Touren. Sehr schnell, ausreichend leicht, (zu) schön anzusehen und vollkommen wartungsfrei. Perfekt. Auch der Service nach dem Diebstahl war blendend, heldenhaft. Danke an euch Helden.
Nach nunmehr 14 Monaten und einigen Testkilometern (täglicher Weg zur Arbeit, diverse längere Touren), kann ich nun langsam ein Feedback abgeben.
Ich bin alles in allem sehr zufrieden mit dem Rad, es bringt mich schnell und mit viel Spaß von A nach B. Aus Unerfahrenheit würde ich bei einer nächsten Bestellung ein paar Veränderungen, speziell in Sachen Federung vornehmen. Zwar hat es sich nach der Umstellung auf einen Brooks Cambium C17 schon sehr verbessert, aber diverse Dinge im Feinschliff würde ich heute anders machen.
Trotzdem bin ich im Allgemeinen durchweg zufrieden und es wird nicht mein letztes/einziges Rad aus dem Hause Veloheld bleiben.
Das Rad ist perfekt. Alles funktioniert hervorragend. Vielen Dank dafür. Allerdings darf man bei einem Rad für über 3000 Euro erwarten, dass die passenden Schläuche verbaut werden. Auf hohe Felgen Schläuche mit kurzen Ventilen einzusetzen, so dass man jedes Mal zum Aufpumpen die Rändelmutter mit abschrauben muss ist einfach nur ärgerlich. Da ich aus Nachhaltigkeitsgründen die Schläuche nicht wechseln werde, erinnert mich jedes Aufpumpen daran. Ansonsten ein tolles Rad!
Hallo ihr Velohelden, ich fahre nun seit knapp 3 Monaten mein neues Lane in schickem dunklem stahlblau und bin bislang sehr zufrieden. Nutze es fast täglich auf dem Weg zur Arbeit und für viele Wege, am Wochenende (3-4 Stunden) ab und zu für eine Tour. Nächstes Jahr sollen damit auch größere Touren gefahren werden.
Es ist vor allem alltagstauglich, bequem, sehr laufstabil und vor allem sehr leise. Kein kratzen knarzen oder ähnliches, eben Stahl und kein Carbon. Die Verarbeitung gefällt mir! Die von mir gewählte und von euch empfohlene Ausstattung ( Ultegra Antrieb und XT Bremsen) passt perfekt zu mir und ist echt vielseitig. Jetzt ist der Dauertest gefragt.
Das leichteste Rad ist zwar nicht und daher auch nicht das Spritzigste aber dass war klar und ist für den geplanten Einsatz auch nicht relevant.

Nach einem Jahr, 164 h und 2500 km ist es denke ich Zeit ein kleines Feedback zu geben.
Als Jobrad nutze ich mein veloheld lane als alltagsrad nahezu jeden Tag. Ohne Auto erledigen wir in Leipzig alles mit den Fahrrad. Ob die Kinder in die Kita bringen, auf arbeit fahren, einkaufen oder den Wochenendausflug an den See… Alles wird mit dem Fahrrad gemacht.
Und euer Fahrrad macht das tadellos mit!
Von Beginn an hat es sich bewährt. Der Sattel ein Traum, die Scheibenbremsen genau das was ich brauche, die Lichtanlage unschlagbar und die Optik ist top! Ich werde regelmäßig angesprochen, an der Ampel oder beim Kinder einsacken in der Kita… Veloheld ist in Leipzig nicht unbekannt.
Einen einzigen Platten, mehr war an Ausfällen nicht drin… Und das kann auch so bleiben.
Lediglich ein kleiner Lackschaden der schon bei der Ãœberführung nach Leipzig da war am Gepäckträger sieht nicht mehr ganz so chick aus… Naja, ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden und sage das auch wenn man mich fragt.

Hallo Velohelden, seit 1,5 Jahren fahre ich nun mein Veloheld Lane und bin noch immer begeistert; so sehr, dass ich im Sommer sogar zu bequem bin, aufs Rennrad umzusteigen. Besonders schön finde ich, dass ihr meine Wunschfarbe danach zur Saisonfarbe gemacht habt… Ich habe über ein Jahr nach einem Fahrrad gesucht und die Entscheidung für das Lane keinen Tag bereut. Seit einem 3/4 Jahr fahre ich nun fast täglich mit meinem Lane zur Arbeit. Heute habe ich den Frühjahrsputz hinter mir, bevor es nun zur ersten Inspektion geht und ich weiß jetzt schon, das ist es: Das beste Rad, was ich bisher mein Eigen nennen durfte!
– Pro: minimalistisch-praktisches Design, schöner Stahrahmen, liegt auf der Straße wie eine Eins, gute Komponenten, kam gut vormontiert an (das habe ich bei anderen Herstellern schon anders erlebt…)
– Con: beim Fahren im Regen wird es schmutzig ;-)))
Ihr zaubert mir bei jeder Fahrt wieder ein Grinsen auf‘s Gesicht. Man merkt, dass Fahrradfahren Eure Leidenschaft und nicht nur ein Job ist!
