We are pleased to present you the new veloheld.lane city bike / touring bike. We have once again improved the bike in many small details. Our new employee Daniel has already had the chance to ride the bike and introduces you to the new features in text and pictures.
The frame
The frame has been perfected over the years for durability and comfort. This means that the solid, yet lightweight 4130 CroMo frame tubes have not undergone any significant changes. We have only extended the head tube of each frame size by 5 mm on the men’s frame. This allows you to ride a little more upright compared to the predecessor or even leave out a spacer. The standard color of the frame, fork and mudguards is dark steel blue. The frame naturally has an ED-Black anti-corrosion treatment in the frame and under the final powder coating and can also be purchased individually or as a frame set with fork and mudguards as a men’s or women’s frame for an individual build. There is also the new Acros headset.
The integrated luggage rack
We have now connected the elegant Tubus Fly rack even more beautifully to the bike. The usual stabilizing strut was moved under the mudguard in the form of a profile without any loss of stabilization. As with the “normal” luggage carrier, a maximum load of 20 kg is possible. If this is not enough for you, you can use the additional eyelets on the frame to mount a different, even more stable rack.
The new lighting system
With the SON lighting system (Edelux II front and SON rear light), the bike has one of the best lighting systems on the market. In the past, we have been able to convince ourselves of the super quality and great illumination of one or two of the desired structures. This makes you even safer and brighter on the road at night. The power is provided by the lightweight and powerful new Shutter Precision hub dynamo.
The bike can currently be pre-ordered directly from us or our dealers . Delivery will then take place in July of this year.
