Delivery time
As a bicycle manufacturer, we coat each frameset individually for you. Frames in standard colour with eyelets on the top tube can be delivered within 3 – 8 working days . We need 4 – 5 weeks after you have received your order confirmation from us to manufacture and ship your frame set in standard color without threads and in the color of your choice.
The veloheld.iconX is the bike for everyone who likes versatility – whether as a cyclocross bike for the “hunt in the mud”, as a gravel bike for touring adventures or as a city bike for the daily commute – the iconX can do it all. The lightweight steel frame made of heat-treated CrMo tubes is equipped with an extra-stiff “tapered” head tube to accommodate the latest tapered carbon forks. But the chromoly fork also fits smoothly and can transport your luggage and additional drinks with a mountable front wheel carrier close to the axle.
The flat-mount disc brakes provide the necessary safety and braking power off-road. On the other hand, the brake mount is “neatly” accommodated in the rear frame triangle. With the necessary but “discreet” eyelets for mudguards and pannier rack, the veloheld.iconX frame can also be transformed into a sporty tourer or a fast “every-day commuter”.
The veloheld.iconX is also available as a complete bike with various equipment options. Of course also in your desired RAL color…

The bike is delivered almost fully assembled and securely packed in a cardboard box by a forwarding agent within Germany. After delivery, you can assemble it ready to ride in a few simple steps and without special tools and go on your first ride straight away. You can find all information about the structure here.
After delivery, you can quickly assemble the bike ready to ride with just a few simple steps and a few tools. To do this, the handlebars incl. Turn the stem in the direction of travel, install the pedals and adjust your saddle height.
You will find all the exact assembly steps in the assembly instructions.
If you live near one of our dealers, you can also test ride your dream bike there. Please get in touch with the dealer first so that he really has the bike in stock and can prepare it for you if necessary.
If you buy the bike directly from us, you can test ride it on a dry surface at home after receiving and assembling it. If, contrary to expectations, you don’t like it and/or it doesn’t fit, we will collect it from you again free of charge. All you have to do is pack it safely back into the shipping box and wait for collection. Please note: This does not apply to customized bikes.
Without limiting the statutory warranty rights, we grant you a total warranty of 5 years from the date of purchase on veloheld frames and veloheld forks. You can find the exact details on our warranty and guarantee page.

The maximum permissible system weight for the veloheld.iconX consisting of bicycle, rider and luggage should not exceed 120 kg for frame sizes XS, S and M and 140 kg for frame sizes L, XL and XXL with steel fork. When used with a carbon fork, the limit for all sizes is 120 kg.
Unfortunately no, you cannot mount a stand directly on the frame of this bike.

Sehr schön, so sollte es sein. Service und Kommunikation gut, Rahmen und Gabel ohne jeglichen Ansatz einer Beanstandung, Beschichtung, Gewinde … alles sehr gut. Auf Jeden Fall empfehlenswert und ich bau seit Jahren ca. 4-11 Räder pro Jahr und werde in Zukunft diese Rahmen meinen Leuten empfehlen, weiter so und vielen Dank.
Nach langer Suche nach einem Stahlrahmen mit innenverlegten Zügen zu einem bezahlbaren Preis, bin ich auf das Veloheld ICONX gestoßen. Ich habe mir das Rad in meiner Wunschfarbe pulvern lassen und es mir mit hochwertigen Komponenten selbst aufgebaut. Am Ende kam ein Gewicht von 9,15 KG inkl. Pedalen heraus. Das Bike ist optisch mein Traumrad, nur was nützt die schönste Optik und die feinsten Teile wenn das Rad zu groß ist. Selbst mit Tausch des Vorbaus von 90mm auf 70mm und Sattelstütze ohne Versatz saß ich zu gestreckt. Leider war eine vorherige Probefahrt aufgrund der Pandemielage und der Entfernung Köln-Dresden nicht möglich. Ich habe mir den ICONX Rahmen mit 178 cm und 83 Schrittlänge nach Größenempfehlung auf der Veloheld Seite in Größe M bestellt. Leider für mich viel zu groß. Studiert bitte die Reach und Stack Werte und macht nicht den selben Fehler wie ich. Die Lieferung des Rahmens verzögerte sich um 4 Wochen und die Wartezeit belief sich somit auf ca. 6 Monate, das war mir aufgrund der Lage im Vorfeld klar und keine Schuld von Veloheld.
Der Rahmen ist gut verarbeitet und die Details gefallen. Der Kontakt zu Veloheld war stets freundlich und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend.
Wenn Veloheld den Reach der Rahmen etwas verkürzen würde, würde ich mir diesen definitiv wieder bestellen, so leider nicht…:(
Nach langer Recherche bin ich Ende 2017 am IconX hängen geblieben. Von der Bestellung des Rahmengabelsets bis zur Lieferung vergingen genau vier Wochen (inklusive Weihnachten und Silvester). Die Verarbeitungsqualität finde ich sehr gut, die Schweißnähte sind dezent und alle Gewinde sauber nachgeschnitten. Sehr gut finde ich, dass die Lieferung inklusive eingepresstem Steuersatz, Steckachsen und Sattelklemme erfolgte. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist für mich das BSA Innenlager, welches sich sehr gut montieren lies.
Das Rad fährt sich sehr gemütlich ohne träge zu sein. Mein Fazit: Alles richtig gemacht.
Das Rad fährt sich super! Ich habe bereits ein Rennrad und ein einfaches Stadtrad. Das IconX habe ich in erster Linie als Anlternative zum Rennrad angeschafft – für schlechte Wege und/oder schlechtes Wetter. Aber auch für längere, mehrtägige Radtouren. Besonders gefällt mir das schlichte, aber sehr schicke Design. Den Trend, dass Fahrräder seit einiger Zeit immer mehr wie Raumschiffe aussehen, gefällt mir nämlich überhaupt nicht. Die Verabreitung des Rahmen ist super und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis finde ich völlig in Ordnung.
Einen kleinen Minuspunkt gibt es für die Zugführung an der Unterseite des Tretlagers. Hier war entweder die Schraube minderwertig und/oder das Gewinde im Rahmen nicht ganz in Ordnung. Jedenfalls hab ich bei der Befestigung (trotz Drehmomentschlüssel auf geringer Stufe) die Innensechskantaufnahme der Schraube zerstört, sodass diese feststeckte und ich sie dann selbst auch nicht mehr entfernen konnte. Glücklicherweise hat der Radladen an der Ecke das dann retten können.
als Veloheld Stammkunde 🙂 habe ich viel erwartet … aber alle Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Ich habe zwei Räder gleichzeitig aufgebaut, beide mit SRAM 1×11 Gruppen. Die Räder bringen einfach nur Spaß. Die Verarbeitung ist perfekt und Eure Endkontrolle verdient diesen Namen. Alle Gewinde sind perdekt und sogar die Innenlagerstirnflächen sind plangefräst – dies ist aktuell leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr. Selbst mein Lieblingslastenrad aus Dänemark kann mit Eurer Rahmenvorbereitung und Lackierung nicht mithalten.

Das iconX habe ich gleich 2-fach bestellt – für meine Freundin und mich – wir haben beide mit 1×11 fach Gruppen ausgestattet und sind seither einfach nur begeistert. Das iconX fährt sich einfach toll und bringt mega Spaß. Der Rahmen ist wie gewohnt super verarbeitet und wurde einer echten Endkontrolle unterzogen. Die Gewinde und Lagersitze sind perfekt nachgearbeitet. Selbst die Innenlagerstirnflächen sind perfekt plangefräst, was heute leider nicht mehr bei allen Herstellern selbstverständlich ist. Mit Wunschlackierung eine super Basis für einen Selbstaufbau. Wir haben nun 4 Velohelden im Stall und alle beweisen fast täglich, was in ihnen steckt.
