Blue-grey, and admittedly on purpose
The frame is painted in a subtle blue-grey. It might sound a bit like a factory floor at first, but we think it looks really classy on the bike. A subtle grey with a very slight hint of blue, which goes wonderfully with the silver accents.
That’s all it takes to make the whole thing look just right.
Two chainrings and one push of a button
The gear changes are handled smartly by a Shimano 105 Di2 in a 2×12 setup. Up front, there are two chainrings with 50 and 34 teeth, giving you plenty of power in reserve for acceleration on the road and enough headroom to climb the hills with ease. The electronics handle the gear changes: a quick press of a button is all it takes, and the gear is engaged, whether you’re going downhill or in the middle of a climb. Perfect for our veloheld.icon Allroad, as it’s designed for electronic groupset – the cables disappear completely into the frame, leaving a really clean look.
Cockpit completely clean
At the front is a Ritchey WCS Switch stem, 100 mm with a WCS Streem handlebar, 420 mm. The cables disappear directly from the stem into the frame, so from the front you really only see the handlebars, stem and wheel. The seatpost is a Ritchey WCS Alloy Link.
Carbon wheels and Bronze Skin
It’s fitted with DT Swiss ERC 1600 wheelsets featuring 45 mm-high carbon rims. They really pick up speed on the road and look absolutely brilliant whilst doing so. To match, there are the Schwalbe Pro One 34 mm with Bronze Skin tyres, wide enough for gravel and poor tarmac, fast enough for everything else.
Our most sporty bike, in the best sense
The basis for all of this is our veloheld.icon Allroad. Columbus tubes from Italy, welded in our frame-building workshop in Leipzig with a tyre clearance of up to 40 mm. A bike for anyone who doesn’t want to choose between speed and comfort, and who isn’t going to turn back just because the road surface gets a bit rough.
