The colour – or rather: the colours
RAL 5023 Deep Blue matt – calm, deep and simply beautiful. But what really makes this build special are the mudguards in RAL 1036 Pearl Gold matt. A completely different colour to the frame, and yet everything comes together harmoniously in the end. To match, there’s also matt gold detailing. You look at it and briefly wonder why it works so well – and then you realise that it simply does.
And that’s exactly what we love so much about what we do here. Anyone ordering a bike from veloheld decides for themselves what goes on their new bike, whether it’s the frame colour, mudguard colour, trim or components. Everything can be selected individually until you’ve put together your perfect set-up.
Pinion and Gates – because a chain doesn't have to be
Pinion C1.12i SmartShift, Gates CDX belt drive. No oil, no derailleur getting stuck, no maintenance you keep putting off. Electronic shifting, belt instead of chain – just hop on and ride off. The system is designed for anyone who goes on long rides and really doesn’t need any excuses, or who is looking for a reliable bike for everyday use.
The structure
Steel fork in the same colour as the frame – so the whole bike looks right, not just the frame. Ritchey WCS VentureMax handlebars (420 mm), 90 mm stem. Clean, well thought-out, not a single superfluous detail. DT Swiss wheels, Schwalbe G-One Allround 40 mm – wide enough for gravel, fast enough for the city, comfortable enough for long days in the saddle. A bike that really can take you anywhere you want to go.
What remains
Matte deep blue and pearlescent gold, with a Pinion gearbox and Gates drivetrain. Sometimes all the details come together to create a bike that is more than the sum of its parts. And we love it!
