The Color
Reed green, glossy, silver finish. A colour that looks understated and timeless, yet still catches the eye straight away. It also features mudguards in the same colour as the frame, radial rims with a SON hub dynamo at the front and a Hope Pro 5 hub at the rear. The cockpit, also in silver, rounds off the look to create a perfectly harmonious overall appearance. Clean, well thought-out, not a single superfluous detail.
Single-speed with belt drive – why exactly?
Because it simply makes sense for the city: fast, manoeuvrable and low-maintenance. One gear, one belt, no oil, no dirty chain marks. With the Gates CDX belt drive featuring 48–21–115 teeth, which is simply quiet, clean and low-maintenance, this isn’t a problem at all.
The details
SON hub dynamo with Edelux II headlight in silver, rear light mounted on the Tubus luggage rack. Lights that always work because they don’t rely on a battery. Continental Contact Urban 37–622 tyres, wide enough for everyday use and fast enough for the city. A silver veloheld bell and the Hebie kickstand – two practical features that blend seamlessly into the overall look. And yes, the stem sits on a considerable number of spacers, because every handlebar needs to be at the right height, after all.
